Get rid of that unattractive bump
Nose correction

Some problem areas might be easy to hide. But that unfortunately can’t be said of the nose. Even minor deviations from the ideal nose shape stand out here. A nose which is abnormal in terms of shape and size can impair self-confidence. This mostly affects young adults of both sexes at the prime of their life. We are able to rectify these conspicuous features by means of a nose correction.

OP procedure:

A closed rhinoplasty is performed exclusively through the nostrils and thus leaves no externally visible scars behind. An open rhinoplasty must be taken into consideration in rare cases, such as with corrections of previous nose corrections which did not end well, or after nose injuries or infections. In this case, only a small, W-shaped scar in the nose bridge area will remain. It will hardly be visible in time, as long as the healing process is not disrupted. The removal of a bump on the nose requires an osteotomy (removal) of the nasal bone. A small nose splint made of thermoplastic material will then have to be worn for 10 days.

We will compare your expectations and desires to what is medically feasible in personal consultation and develop an individual operation concept accordingly. A special computer simulation can be used to provide a good picture of the results. The operative intervention for the nose correction is always performed using anesthesia. An inpatient stay at the clinic for 1-2 nights is included in the price.

These operations are the greatest and most satisfying operations for the attending physician, but the impossibility of concealing an error also makes them one of the most difficult interventions in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Kleiner’s practice works intensively with Dr. Matthias Winter, one of the best and most experienced surgeons in this special field, former senior physician at the University Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in Erlangen, medical specialist for ear, nose, and throat medicine, plastic operations, member of the most renowned professional associations and speaker at international conventions and OP courses.
