Scar treatment

Injuries and other accidents such as burns can leave behind visible scars.  Scars are frequently spread unattractively after operations as well, reddened and bulging. The appearance of a scar also depends on personal disposition as well as on the type of injury.
Several different factors have an effect on scar formation. These include the depth of the wound, the blood supply to the wound area, the thickness and color of your skin and the course of the scar in relation to the fold lines of the skin. The clean, smooth wound edges that are caused by operations heal in a way which is much more cosmetically favorable than dull, possibly jagged or bruised wound edges which can occur from contusions.

The procedure:

A new professional stitching technique (the intracutaneous stitch) and the process of excision make it possible to aim at the least conspicuous scar formation possible.  Highly favorable results can also be achieved by smoothing bulging scars, administering subcutaneous injections of cortisone (Dermojet) or filling scar defects with hyaluronic acid.
The tattooing technique of permanent make-up can also yield a marked improvement of the scar.
Another important part of the process is follow-up treatment with the help of special creams and silicone sheets which have a long-term positive effect on renewed scar growth.
The firmness and hardness of a scar can also be improved through the use of endermology.

Objective of an operation:

Although the fact that scars cannot be removed completely is undisputed, experienced plastic surgeons frequently succeed in ameliorating or concealing them. In addition to the administration of medications, there are established operative procedures to correct scars which produce good results when applied in an individual, thoroughly thought-out manner.

Endermology:

Our endermology device makes it possible to effectively smoothen and improve scars. Please arrange individual consultation.
